Automated Demotions on the Appliance: What are Query Milestones? - comment by carrie

In the Viewpoint User Guide for 15.0, it lists "Workload" as one of the Query Monitor portlet columns that you can choose to display.  See page 259-260. Once you have the workload name, you can look at the workload management setup in Workload Designer and determine the workload's priority.
 
I would expect that workload name to change if a query is demoted from one workload to another, but I have not tested that.  You can try it and see.
 
That assumes are using workloads and the demotion is across all AMPs.   If you are on a SLES 10 appliance and relying on query milestones, there is no easy way to see that type of demotion.   That is because it takes place on one node only, so TDWM doesn't ever know about it, and cannot make that information available to Viewpoint.
