Hello Carrie,
Thanks for the article. I would like to understand the relationship between the intervals by an analogy (I have used comparatively larger number for clarity):
Event Interval is 120 Seconds. Low AWT Qualification Period is 240 Seconds. Assuming 12:00 AM & the Event Interval begins it's 120 Seconds window. The AWT Event started @ 12:01 AM, the Event Interval will only start the Low-AWT Qualification Window of 240 Seconds from 12:02 AM only (i.e. after the 120 Seconds Event Interval Window completes). Meaning, @ 12:06 AM when the Event Interval windows ends, the Low-AWT Qualification Time of 240 Seconds is fulfilled & corresponding Event is fired. In reality, the AWT Qualification stayed for 300 Seconds (From 12:01 AM to 12:06 AM), yet the Event Interval works in this manner.
Am I correct in my understanding ? If not, kindly clarify. Also, what is the significance of the word "significance" in Event Interval Definition (The time between asynchronous checks for event occurrences).
Thanks In Advance,
Smarak
